Description
This is an early stage experimental batch. It is a transparent glass with UV fluorescence in the orange color range. This glass is great on its own, but really shines as an overlay. 1st Quality glass is essentially air-free and Abnormals will have more air content. 365nm UV light was used for these photos.
Blowouts are preferable to coilpots for maximum clarity and a neutral flame is preferred.
Recommended Garage/Anneal temp: 1050°F
Abnormal Quality Description: Rods that have fallen below first quality and have been deemed Abnormal. This is high-quality, stone-free glass, but the rods are imperfect. They may be short, slightly thick or thin, have a bit of air or other odd imperfections that affect their appearance. Be aware that there may be color variance in our Abnormal glasses. There are no refunds or exchanges on Abnormal glass – all sales are final.
