Description
Gold Amethyst Lite is a very slightly different version of our standard Gold Amethyst. It is nice, clean glass but the hue leans a little lighter and bluer than the standard Gold Amethyst.
The color will strike in as it is flameworked. For very small applications, try gathering the rod and pulling down to desired diameter to develop the color. For hollow work, we recommend solid color blowouts to fully appreciate the clarity and saturation of this Museum-Quality glass.
Recommended Garage/Anneal temp: 1065°F
Abnormal Quality Description: Rods that have fallen below first quality and have been deemed Abnormal. This is high-quality, stone-free glass, but the rods are imperfect. They may be short, slightly thick or thin, have a bit of air or other odd imperfections that affect their appearance. Be aware that there may be color variance in our Abnormal glasses. There are no refunds or exchanges on Abnormal glass – all sales are final.
