Description
UV Yellow is a light transparent yellow glass with UV fluorescence in the yellow color range. This batch leans slightly less “warm” yellow than the previous batch. 1st Quality glass is essentially air-free and Abnormals will typically have more air content. A UV light source in the 365nm wavelength range will give you the brightest fluorescence.
Blowouts are preferable to coilpots for maximum clarity and a neutral flame is preferred.
Recommended Garage/Anneal temp: 1050°F

Abnormal Quality Description: Rods that have fallen below first quality and have been deemed Abnormal. This is high-quality, stone-free glass, but the rods are imperfect. They may be short, slightly thick or thin, have a bit of air or other odd imperfections that affect their appearance. Be aware that there may be color variance in our Abnormal glasses. There are no refunds or exchanges on Abnormal glass – all sales are final.
